🎥Onboarding, microlearning on vendors’ products, and communication in the stories format
A new widget with a collection of stories has been added to the main page of the Customer Control Panel. It provides a modern way to interact with short vertical videos and slides, which can be used as a versatile communication tool to showcase instructions for new features or highlight products.
The widget will appear once you publish the first stories.
📊Ability to filter consumption within Azure Savings Plan in the Analytics section of the Customer Control Panel
For a Microsoft Azure Plan subscription, customers can apply a filter to view only resources consumed within the Azure Savings Plan:
- In the diagrams and tables of the “Cost overview” section.
- In a downloaded consumption report.
📜Subscription management abilities in situations when a plan became unavailable for new purchases
Customers who have a subscription to a plan that became completely unavailable can now switch their subscription to another plan.
Customers who have a subscription to a plan that became hidden from the catalog but is still active in the platform can now renew their subscription.
Previously, these operations were only available via the Operator Control Panel.
💱Automatic currency rate update via NetSuite
When activated by the system administrator, the updater on schedule retrieves the latest currency exchange rates from NetSuite so that the platform can use the updated values to charge the customers properly.
Additionally, the adjustment coefficient can be applied on the platform side to the values received from NetSuite to reduce potential financial risks.
Previously, currency rates could only be updated manually.
🔄Automatic synchronization of the status of Microsoft Azure Plan subscriptions
Since Microsoft is going to unilaterally block and terminate unused Azure subscriptions, we added daily status synchronization to reflect their actual status in the platform. This allows the platform to promptly delete subscriptions that have already been deleted on the Microsoft side and fix any other discrepancies in subscription statuses.
To simplify the operations team’s work, no manual operations are generated to stop and delete subscriptions with synchronization. However, the platform will send notifications on subscription status changes as usual.
🔧Better user experience with Microsoft subscription migration tools in the Operator Control Panel
For better data consistency, the platform now populates the “Requester IP” and “Manager” fields in sales orders for migrated Microsoft NCE, Software Subscription, and Azure Plan subscriptions.
We also improved the algorithm for searching Microsoft Special Offers subscriptions that are available for migration.
